I was asked to think about one successful learning situation, and also for an unsuccessful one.
I will begin by the successful one. I think that one of the better learning experiences that i had the least time was at a master course about learning technologies. The classes were structured in a way in which all the participants made groups in which we collaborate to accomplish a project. Inside the process to do that, we had to learn some theory, and some technological tools to present the results. The learning process was really grateful.
The points that made it successful were:

  • The interaction between pairs during the process enriched the contents of learning.
  • The kind of task involved and integrated a variety of elements that made a complete package of theory and practice including all the topics expected in the learning unit.
  • The teachers guidance for the student's work made possible that the steps get in the right way.
My unsuccessful learning experience was in the same course, but the teacher began explaining many theoretical concepts, some standards, with any examples, any use of them and even any essay or text to write about. I'm still not sure about what was the main topic of that class.
